The first recommended list of degradable plastic takeaway packaging

Entrusted by the China Environmental Protection Foundation and Meituan Takeaway, the Degradable Plastics Committee of China Plastics Association/Beijing Technology and Business University successfully completed the enterprise declaration and expert review of the first batch of "Recommended Directory of Degradable Plastic Takeaway Packaging". A total of 52 products from 105 enterprises were collected, including 38 bag products, 44 lunch boxes, bowls and cups, 6 straw products, and 17 knives, forks and spoons. A total of 15 experts and representatives from industry associations, scientific research institutes, universities, takeaway platforms and catering enterprises reviewed the application materials of each product. In the end, a total of 31 degradable plastic takeaway packaging products from 46 companies were included in the first list, as shown in the following table.
